History Of KS&R, Inc.

Manufacturing In WV,USA Since 1986

Founded in 1986 by Dennis and Charlotte Kimes, Kimes Steel & Rail began as a small operation producing railroad gage rods under an exclusive agreement with Midwest Steel. Over the years, we expanded beyond gage rods to include switch materials, track components, and custom steel products for railroads, contractors, and industrial clients across the U.S

2008-2026

In 2008, ownership transitioned to D. Shannon Kimes, a mechanical engineer committed to innovation and growth. Today, we combine decades of experience with advanced technology to deliver precision-engineered products for rail and steel applications
