Bolt Split Lockwashers

Bolt split lockwashers to AREA and AREMA specifications — the standard railroad track washer used with track bolts to secure rail joints. These are the washers called out in AREA/AREMA track fastening standards and are commonly referred to simply as track washers in the railroad industry.

For applications that require heavy-duty fastening but do not specify the full AREMA track washer, our Extra Heavy lockwashers are a popular alternative — offering greater clamp force than standard split lockwashers at a slightly lighter weight than the AREA spec washer.
